EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in civil engineering or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in leading both the production and evaluation of engineering studies and reports.
• Significant* experience in providing advice and recommendations to management**.
• Experience with stakeholder relationships.

* Significant experience is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities (depth and breadth), which could normally be acquired during a period of at least 2 years.
**Management means supervisory positions or higher.

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in applying Canadian rules and regulations pertaining to the design and construction of various types of assets, related to civil and /or structural engineering.
• Experience in developing standards, guidelines and best practices in the field of marine or civil engineering.
• Experience in presenting results, reports or studies to committees and working groups.
