Intent of the process

The purpose of this process is to create a pool of qualified candidates future vacancies from which term, indeterminate and temporary positions can be filled. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be qualified for the pool. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing a candidate. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Failing to do so could result in your application being rejected.

EDUCATION

post-secondary education with acceptable specialization in office work, administration, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

EXPERIENCE

Experience providing administrative support in an office environment

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Work experience in the federal public service.

Experience providing services in the field of finance or accounting.

Depending on the number of applications received, a random selection could be made to manage the volumes of application.

Selected candidates will then be invited to a written exam (Office Skills Test ECTB-200).

A top-down approach could be applied to select the candidates who scored the highest results on the tests.
