Duties

The process will be used to staff Human Resources Coordinator / Human Resources Centre. It may also be used to staff other similar positions in other disciplines related to human resources.

Intent of the process

A pool of qualified and partially qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures as well as various linguistic requirements.

Depending on the position being staffed, additional qualifications may be required by the hiring manager(s). Applicants will be provided the opportunity to submit information or be assessed in relation to any additional qualifications that may be applied.

In the event that an employee of the public service of Canada is qualified through this process, the employee may be considered for acting, assignment, secondment or deployment opportunities and the proper approval will be sought.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Recent* experience in providing administrative and/or coordination services.

Experience using common word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail software (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook)

Experience in providing client service

*Recent is defined as have been obtained within the last 5 years

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience in processing data in a human resources information system such as PeopleSoft

Experience providing support services to a learning team.

Experience providing human resources support services.

Experience in processing and reconciling financial documents.

Experience in preparing reports.

Experience coordinating and liaising with offices in senior official and internal or external clients.
