ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS are the qualifications required to perform the work. You must meet the below essential qualifications when applying to this position and provide concrete examples in the screening questions to be considered for this position.
EDUCATION
ED: Successful completion of a recognized post secondary school program in aircraft maintenance avionics, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
OC1: Possession of a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category E.
OC2: Current or recent Aircraft Certification Authority.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Significant and recent* experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer category E and as a supervisor or manager of the maintenance of aircraft avionic and electrical systems in an Approved Maintenance Organization as per Canadian Air Regulations (CARs) 2017-3 Part V – Standard 573.
*Definition of significant and recent experience:
-Significant experience means at least ten years of relevant experience with a minimum of five years as a supervisor or manager.
-Recent is defined as approximately within the last five years.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS are qualifications that are not essential to perform the work, but that, now or in the future, may benefit the organization and be an enhancement in terms of the work to be performed. EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience in financial and personnel management.
AEX2: Previous or current shop Certifying Authority for avionics shops
AEX3: Project Management experience related to implementing aircraft avionics or electrical modifications.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
You will be scheduled for a test to obtain valid Second Language Evaluation results.

The selected candidate must meet and maintain the below conditions of employment throughout their employment:
