We have 3 temporary positions to fill for specified periods (approximately 1 year with the possibility of extension).
A pool of qualified candidates will be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions with various linguistic profiles, security profiles and various tenures within Library and Archives Canada.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
EXPERIENCE:
-Experience installing computer equipment and software applications
-Experience in providing technology and administrative support in a networked environment with Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 and Microsoft Office Suite
-Experience troubleshooting technical issues
-Experience providing client services

KNOWLEDGE:
-Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques suitable to a Local Area Network (LAN) environment
-Knowledge of the components and functions of microcomputer hardware
