Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution in Security Management, Architecture, Mechanical, or Electronic Technology, Property Management, or other specialty relevant to the position.
Experience:
-Recent* experience in applying security practices in accordance with Government of Canada security policies and standards.
-Recent* experience in providing physical security advice and consultation.
*Recent experience refers to similar work performed within the last 3 years

-A secondary school diploma or employer approved alternative.
EXPERIENCE :
-Recent* experience in applying security practices in the physical security field.
-Recent* experience working with Office technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel.

KNOWLEDGE:
-Knowledge of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) structure.
-Knowledge of Research Principles and Practices.
-Knowledge of Physical Security Principles.

-Able to access physical worksites/areas including construction sites with exposure to disagreeable conditions such as hot/cold/wet weather, exposure to dust, dirt, noxious fumes, noise and vibrations
Top Secret security clearance - All applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include (but not limited to), reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.
