Work environment

This inventory will be managed by the Public Service Commission of Canada (PSC) and used by various federal government organizations to staff their positions. Potential candidates will be further assessed for the job to be filled when contacted by the hiring organization.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A college diploma, obtained OR will be obtained by January 31st, 2021, from a recognized post-secondary institution in one of the following fields of study:

- Business administration
- Business administration – finance
- Business administration – human resources
- Office administration
- Accounting and management

- Secretarial studies
- Paralegal
- Legal assistance
- Secretarial – medical field

OR

*Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.

Degree equivalency

Experience providing administrative support services*.
Experience in providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing.

*Administrative support services is defined as, but not limited to: managing agendas, scheduling and organizing meetings/teleconferences, preparing and collating meeting file folders and background materials, procuring office equipment and supplies, maintaining a filing system, data entry, booking travel arrangements, minutes taking, and other related duties.

Note: Experience may be demonstrated through employment, volunteer work, student employment or scholastic activity or achievement.
