EDUCATION:
ED-01: Successful completion of a recognized post secondary school program in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
OC-01: Possession of a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category M1 and / or M2.
EXPERIENCE:
EX-01: Three years of recent* experience as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, category M1 and/ or M2, maintaining fixed wing aircraft.
*Recent is defined as within the last four years.
EXPERIENCE:
AEX-01: Maintenance type training and/or experience maintaining one or more of the following aircraft types:
- King Air Series
- Cessna Citation II

KNOWLEDGE:
K-01: Knowledge of Canadian civil airworthiness requirements as they pertain to maintenance performed on aircraft and aeronautical products.
K-02: Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
ABILITIES:
A-01: Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings.
A-02: Ability to communicate effectively orally.
A-03: Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
PERSONAL SUITABILITY:
PS-01: Effective Interpersonal Skills
PS-02: Dependability
PS-03: Judgment
-Security Clearance – Secret.
-Possession of a valid driver’s licence.
-Possession of a valid Canadian Passport.
-Available and willing to work shifts and overtime on short notice during the week or on weekends.
-Willing and able to perform work in various positions on aircraft and in the hangar, which may involve standing, kneeling, lying and sitting as well as crawling into confined spaces and climbing elevated maintenance stands.
-Willing and capable to travel for extended periods up to 4 weeks at a time.
