The Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS) is the designated health care provider for Canada’s military personnel, delivering medical and dental services at military installations across Canada and overseas.
Our mission is to deliver quality care and promote health protection to Canadian Forces personnel. We are a multi-disciplinary team that works together, guided by the best interests of those we serve. We support, promote and encourage the professional and personal development of our employees.
This process will be used to staff two indeterminate (permanent) position in Kingston and one indeterminate in Valcartier. Meanwhile, a pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions for determinate (casual) periods. This pool could be used to fill similar positions within the Department of National Defense with various language proficiencies and security profiles.

Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in nursing.
Completion of an accredited educational program for Nurse Practitioners in Primary Health Care.
Occupational Certification
Certification as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
Experience
Experience in working with a broad range of medical conditions and disabilities as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary collaborative practice environment.
Experience in at least one of the following areas: ambulatory care, acute care, community health care or health education.
Various language requirements
English Essential, French Essential and Bilingual Imperative.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Candidates must possess a Nurse Practitioner licence in good standing from the provincial regulatory body of the province in which employment is sought, by the commencement of employment
