A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may be used to staff similar positions, on a temporary or permanent basis, within the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney, NS.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with acceptable specialization in a library technician program.

Degree equivalency

Experience in providing library services in at least two of the following areas: reference, cataloguing, acquisitions, interlibrary loans and document delivery services.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Graduation with a Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Library Science
Graduation with a Master’s Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Library Science

Degree equivalency

Experience working in a science or technology library
Experience working with student and/or adult learners in a post-secondary educational
environment
