Currently enrolled or eligible to enroll in a PhD program with specialization in soil science, agronomy, or environmental science at the University of Guelph, Ontario.
Experience in designing experiments and developing project plans
Experience in conducting research projects and publishing paper(s) in peer reviewed scientific journals in the areas of soil fertility and chemistry, agronomy, or environmental studies, as related to nutrient and water management.

Information on language requirements
Knowledge of chemical fertilizers, organic wastes (manures, composts, etc.) and nutrient
Knowledge of nutrient and water cycling in soil-crop-water systems relating to plant growth and development and environmental quality.
Knowledge of experimental design and experimental protocols implementation procedures;
Knowledge of analytical principles for nutrient and other element determination and data statistical analysis.

Abilities to use scientific instruments and tools; to make observations, collect and record data accurately and interpret and analyze results;
