WORK LOCATION:
- Donnacona (Responsible of Donnacona, Port-Cartier and Community Correctionnal Centers (CCC) Marcel-Caron Quebec).
- Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (Responsible of Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines complex).
- Laval (Responsible of Centre fédéral de formation and Centre fédéral de formation minimum institutions).
- La Macaza (Responsible of La Macaza, Joliette and Community Correctionnal Centers (CCC) Montréal et Community Correctionnal Centers(CCC) St-Jérôme).
- Cowansville or Drummondville (Responsible of Cowansville and Drummondville institutions).
The incumbent manages the activities of supervisors under his / her supervision as well as those of technical and support staff to ensure efficient, timely and effective delivery of facility management services in a large or multiple institution, grouped establishments and in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
A pool of qualified candidates will be created following this process, and could be used to staff similar positions for indeterminate appointments, term appointments, acting appointments, casual, deployments, assignment and secondment in the Quebec region.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCES
Experience* managing the delivery of infrastructure or equipment maintenance and construction programs or services to a large facility**.
Experience* managing staff and contractors.
Experience* managing financial resources.
Experience* providing advice and recommendations to management on infrastructure or equipment maintenance and construction programs or services.
*Minimum of 2 years experience in the past 5 years.
** Large facility is defined as a building and grounds which are similar in size to a correctional institution, hospital, airport, shopping mall, or college campus.
EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
Completion of a Post Secondary College Certificate or Diploma program, or apprenticeship accreditation program, resulting in certification in at least one of the
following:
• Journeyman Trade Certification in a Building or Mechanic Trade, or
• Building Systems Technician, or
• Facilities Technician, or
• Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Technician, or
• Civil, mechanical, or electronic Technologist, or
• Stationary or Power Engineer or
• Professional management certification in a program relevant to facilities management such as: BOMA Maintenance Management Professional, or Asset Management Professional, or acceptable equivalent or
• Engineering degree in a discipline relevant to facility maintenance
OR an acceptable equivalent combination of training and
experience
EXPERIENCES
Experience working in correctional facilty.
Experience managing projects in either a facilities infrastructure, equipment maintenance or construction environment.
Various language requirements

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of applicable regulations related to the delivery of facilities maintenance and capital construction projects and services.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
ABILITIES
