Education:
ED1 Successful completion of a Forest Technician Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an *acceptable related diploma combined with **acceptable experience.
*The acceptable related diploma is within the field of Environment or Fish and Wildlife.
**The acceptable experience is two years in the field.
Experience:
EX1 Experience in forestry and Species at Risk.
EX2 Experience in tree felling.
EX3 Experience in reviewing project designs, plans, specifications and reports.

Organizational Needs:
