Work environment

Our office is located at 73 Leikin Dr in Ottawa, Ontario (Barrhaven). We offer complimentary parking, convenient access to bus routes immediately outside of the building and free access to on-site and state of the art fitness training facilities.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff two positions on an indeterminate basis, with linguistic profiles of bilingual imperative BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC and an RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

► Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry or some other science relevant to the position.
Note: Examples of other specializations relevant to this position are: biology, engineering, environmental science, etc.

Degree equivalency

► Recent* and significant** experience working on environmental compliance, management of contaminated sites (assessment or remediation) or environmental assessment.
► Experience in developing or analyzing environmental documentation, policies, or written correspondence.
► Experience in delivering environmental projects, activities or audits.
► Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Note:
* Recent experience refers to the performance of the duties within the last five (5) years.
** Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience typically obtained through a combination of education, work or training, over a period of approximately three (3) years.
