Work environment

The Faculty of Science invites applications for positions at the level of lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor in the departments of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences.

The Faculty of Arts invites applications for positions at the level of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor in the departments of Management & Economics, English, French Studies, History, Political Science, Military Psychology & Leadership.

The Royal Military College of Canada is a bilingual university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in the humanities, sciences and engineering to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and civilians. The Faculties of Science and Arts offer BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in all its departments. Members of the Faculty of Science are currently involved in research in a wide range of areas of Science, and many are funded by SERC and other agencies. Members of the departments are currently involved in a wide range research in the fields of military, international, and social history, much of which is funded by national granting councils.

Kingston is a beautiful and historic city at the confluence of Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River and the Rideau Canal system. Easily accessible from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, Kingston offers a diverse array of local music, art, history, theatre and live entertainment that attracts thousands of tourists annually. Kingston has also been designated as a bilingual city by the Government of Ontario.

The Royal Military College (RMC) of Saint-Jean, located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, was originally opened in 1952. RMC currently provides post-secondary education and, through the Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, college degrees in the natural sciences and humanities. It is preparing to offer complete undergraduate courses in French and English again in the fall of 2018 with a program in International Studies. Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is a medium-sized city located on the outskirts of the Montreal metropolis. Fort Saint-Jean, home or RMC Saint-Jean, is a historic site whose present military goes back to the French regime. the first fort was built by the Carignan-Salières Regiment in 1666.
