Duties

Description of Work:
• Provides contracting services, advice and guidance to managers and staff related to the acquisition of goods and services.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial standards.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in the use of various software programs including one or more of the following: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Experience providing services to clients in a fast-paced, high-volume or multi-tasking environment.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

EDUCATION
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or the completion of the certification program for the Federal Government, Procurement and Materiel Management Community.
Completion of a minimum of two of the mandatory courses of the certification program for the Federal Government, Procurement and Materiel Management Community.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in preparing and/or managing documents for the procurement of goods and/or services contracts, including Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Request for Quotation (RFQ).
Experience in evaluating proposals and/or quotations.
Experience in using ABACUS or other Oracle based financial system.
