- Successful completion of secondary school according to Canadian provincial and/or territorial standards

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the performance of procurement and contracting activities for goods or services

ABILITIES:
- Ability to find and interpret information related to procurement.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally.

ASSET EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in Material Management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

ASSET EXPERIENCE:
- Experience using the Material Management module in SAP for purchasing
- Experience working in procurement within the federal government
- Experience working in procurement within a Canadian provincial, territorial, or municipal government

As a Separate Agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) appoints employees in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). OSFI is named in Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and it offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core Federal Public Service.
