Intent of the process

The intent of the process is to staff positions at the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney, NS.

Anticipatory - A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may be used to staff similar positions, on a temporary or permanent basis, within the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney, NS.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Secondary school diploma.
Completion of an acceptable training program in electronics technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
Recent* and significant** experience in the field of Electronic System maintenance and/or recent experience as an electronic system instructor with significant experience in the field of Electronic System maintenance.
NOTE: *Recent experience is normally defined as within the last 5 years.
**Significant experience is normally defined as having worked in the field a minimum of 3 years.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSETS - EXPERIENCE:
Experience as an Electronics Technologist in the Canadian Coast Guard.
Experience as an instructor.
Experience with networking equipment.
Experience in Electronic System Installation.
Experience in the development and planning of training.
