This position is located at 1200 Vanier Parkaway, Ottawa.
Commons services:
•Performs analysis, configuration, integration, maintenance and support of in-house and commercial off-the-shelf applications;
•Provides enterprise access and identity management services, which includes PKI, PMI and access control;
•Provides integrated managed and standardized enterprise computing and workplace technology device platforms.
The immediate need is to staff one (1) position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB and an RCMP Top Secret security clearance.
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Education:
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or any other specialty relevant to the position being staffed. Or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Experience:
-Experience with Windows desktop operating systems.
-Experience in providing technical support to clients and colleagues.
* Experience is defined as a minimum of one (1) year work experience.
Asset Qualifications:
Experience:
-Experience creating, maintaining and executing scripts in Windows Powershell or Linux Shell.

-Knowledge of server operating systems including Windows O/S, Linux or host OS environments.

-Must be willing and able to work on-call on a rotational basis.
