Important messages

Dear candidate,

In every selection process, the first step is called screening. It is the single most important step regarding your application as it’s here, during the screening phase, that the Assessment Board will decide whether your application will be considered further or if it will be rejected.

Do you wish to better your odds at being considered? Then use the Screening Questionnaire wisely, by demonstrating how you meet the Education and Experience criteria listed under “Essential Qualifications” and “Asset Qualifications” (other qualifications). Use concrete examples. We strongly recommend that you use the STAR technique to answer: describe the Situation, the Tasks you were required to achieve, the Actions you took and the Results of your actions.

Beware: should your examples not be concrete enough or should they contain insufficient details, unfortunately, the Assessment Board will not be in a position to make any assumptions regarding your experience. After all, we do not know you! Your application would simply be at risk of being outright eliminated. We will not contact you to obtain further information.

It’s your turn, give it your best shot!

**IMPORTANT NOTICE. You must submit your application using the “Apply online” function. Only applications submitted via this portal will be considered, unless a valid reason is presented prior to the closing date and accepted by the hiring manager. - Collect, evaluate, and analyze data from multiple, diverse sources and will determine relevance and reliability of data.
- Apply analytical methodologies to assess the nature and extent of criminal networks, activities, trends and threats.
- Contribute to the development of intelligence briefings, threat assessments, and reports on crime trends/patterns. You may be called upon to present your findings to investigators.
- Supervise a team of three open source analysts.

If you have strong analytical and communication skills, an eagerness to collaborate and learn, and a commitment to excellence and results, we are looking for you!
