Intent of the process

The process is anticipatory.

A pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment/secondment) basis, with various bilingual linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.

Successful completion of approved training in public health nursing or successful completion of approved training in obstetrics, mental health or some other specialty relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Occupational Certification
-Eligible for registration as a registered nurse in Ontario.
-First Aid Certificate
-Current CPR Certification

Experience
-Experience in Occupational Health Nursing.
-Experience in Disability Case Management.
