Information on accommodation for persons with disabilities
Under supervision of a research scientist, the student will conduct plant molecular biology and plant biotechnology research. The student will make DNA vectors, conduct plant transformation, analyze gene expression, analyze data, prepare draft reports.
The student will work in a plant molecular biology research laboratory.
The London Research and Development Centre is one of a network of national agricultural research centres operated by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. The research centre conducts research on field and vegetable crops, bio-based products and processes, genomics and biotechnology, integrated pest management, and sustainable production systems.

Currently enrolled in a PhD program in a recognized post-secondary academic institution with specialization in plant biotechnology and plant molecular biology.
Experience in plant molecular biology, DNA vector construction, genome editing and soybean transformation.
