• Please apply the following approach: use each screening qualification as a header and then provide a description outlining when, where and how you meet each qualification.
• Resumes may be used as a secondary source to validate the education and / or experience described in the cover letter.
• Copy of undergraduate and post-graduate transcripts.
• Failure to clearly demonstrate how you meet the screening criteria will result in the rejection of your application. Candidates will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information.
• Any or all of the criteria under the Asset Qualifications may be used for screening purposes
• The client organization will accept applications on-line only.

• Applicants who apply to this selection process must include in their application a valid e-mail address and make sure this address is functional at all times and accepts messages from unknown users
The successful candidate will be required to carry out computational fluid dynamic calculations on marine vehicles and their components (e.g., ships, submarines, propellers), to validate the calculations against experimental or sea trial data, and to improve these numerical methods as well as other analytical/empirical simulation tools.
Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is an agency of the Canadian Department of National Defence that responds to the scientific and technological needs of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Its vision, mission and values guide Defence R&D Canada to ensure that the CAF remains scientifically and operationally relevant. The agency is made up of seven centres located across Canada with a corporate office in Ottawa.
DRDC Atlantic Research Centre is the primary DRDC research center supporting the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). One of its responsibilities is to help the RCN understand the hydrodynamic and maneuvering characteristics of its marine platforms (primarily ships and submarines). This is accomplished through a combination of scale model experiments, numerical calculations, and analytical/semi-empirical methods.
