Duties

Duties for PM-03 include, but are not limited to:
• Analyze applications, documents and any information provided by clients and ensure all requirements are met
• Verify discrepancies and missing information and contact clients to ensure gaps are addressed
• Prepare reports and justify all eligibility decisions
• Provide recommendations to management regarding the eligibility of the productions

Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY- A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this process in order to fill identical or similar positions with various tenures (acting, term, assignment, secondment, deployment, indeterminate) within the Department of Canadian Heritage.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
Graduation with a diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution OR an acceptable combination of education and work experience.*

*Acceptable combination is defined as:
1) a minimum of a high school diploma; AND
2) minimum of two years of work experience in a field relevant to the position such as funding program administration, accounting and financial analysis or film and television production.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

EX1 Experience providing recommendations to management in the application and interpretation of policies and procedures.

EX2 Experience in assessing financial reports, budgets or legal agreements or contracts.

EX3 Experience in providing service to clients.

Information on language requirements

Knowledge:

K-1 Knowledge of the administration and delivery of programs and services, and in determining the eligibility of projects or applications.
K2 Knowledge of the role of the Canadian Audio-visual Certification Office within the Canadian film and television industry.

Abilities:
A1 Ability to communicate effectively orally.
A2 Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
A3 Ability to understand and interpret legislation, policies or procedures to ensure compliance to stated criteria.
A4 Ability to meet tight deadlines, to work effectively on several tasks at once and to establish priorities.
