Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff a temporary position at the PM-03 level and to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff positions with various tenures (such as indeterminate or specified term) and/or security clearances (such as Reliability or Secret) and/or linguistic profiles within Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, and other federal departments and agencies in the North.

EDUCATION

ED1 - Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience defined as:

High School plus two years of work experience in program administration.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

E1 - Experience in providing advice on program administration services.

E2 - Experience in researching and analysing information.

E3 - Experience in developing options and recommendations for management.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE:

AK1 - Knowledge of Estate Administration.

AK2 - Knowledge of the Secure Certificate of Indian Status Application and/or Canadian Passport process.

AK3 - Knowledge of historic and modern Treaties in the Northwest Territories.

ABILITIES:

AA1 - Ability to manage a program or project.

AA2 - Ability to speak a NWT Indigenous language.

AA3 - Ability to provide training sessions to clients.

CURRENT AND/OR FUTURE ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
