Intent of process:
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and could be used to fill similar or identical positions within the departments of the public service in the National Capital Region. The profile, language requirements, duration and security clearance may vary depending on the position.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:

Library & Information Technician Diploma

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Experience working in a library.

Experience in the use of the system SAP (fund commitments, purchase orders, purchase requisitions).

Experience related to Accounts Payable such as verification of invoices or other types of payments.

Experience using Microsoft Excel advanced features.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset Qualifications:

Experience using a governmental credit card (Mastercard) and managing related process

Experience acquiring information resources

Experience administrating the serials control system and using an integrated library system

Experience distributing print and electronic serial in a library

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

Information on language requirements

Knowledge:

Knowledge of the Government of Canada procurement process and Services.

General knowledge of the Financial Administration Act

Abilities:

• Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to work to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate efficiently in writing
• Ability to communicate efficiently orally
