Please be advised that one, some, or of all of the Asset Qualifications could be used at the screening phase.

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the candidate to clearly demonstrate how they meet each of the screening criteria (i.e. Education and Experience Qualifications, both Essential and Asset). Please note that it is not sufficient to only state that the requirement is met or to provide a listing of current responsibilities, rather the candidate must provide concrete examples that illustrate how they meet the requirement (i.e. Education and Experience Qualifications, both Essential and Asset). Your resume may be used as a secondary source to validate your education and experience, both Essential and Asset.

Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, term, deployment, assignment, secondment, acting or casual basis.

Your résumé.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Failing to do so could result in your application being rejected.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Experience:
• Experience performing cleaning duties in a commercial, industrial or medical environment.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience:
• Experience providing cleaning services in a military environment.
• Experience in handling and mixing of cleaning chemicals.
• Experience operating various cleaning equipment and/or machines.

• Candidates may be required to obtain and maintain a military driver’s permit (DND 404/FMT 600), which may require possession of a valid unrestricted Class 5 Alberta driver's license (or provincial or territorial equivalent)
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
