In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education
Successful completion of a post secondary school program in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Degree equivalency

Occupational Certification:
Possession of a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category S.

Experience
Significant and recent experience as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, maintaining, repairing and/or modifying aircraft structures.

Definition of significant and recent experience:
- Significant experience means at least five years of relevant experience.
- Recent is defined as within the last three years.

English essential

Information on language requirements

Knowledge
Knowledge of techniques required to do composite and sheet metal structural repair.

Competencies

Abilities :

ASSET QUALIFICATION
Certified aviation welder to AMS-STD-1595.

Conditions of employment

Secret security clearance

Possess a valid Canadian passport.
Possess a valid driver’s licence.
Available and willing to travel.
Available and willing to work overtime on short notice during the week or on weekends.
