The Department of National Defence (DND) is a federal government department. DND employees and Canadian Forces members, as a Defence Team, operate hand-in-hand to ensure the defence of Canada and Canadians at home and abroad.
RP Ops (Esq) is part of the Defence Team, responsible for providing Infrastructure support to Navy operations.
19 Wing Comox, based on Vancouver Island, carries out search and rescue operations in the busiest region in Canada. As a civilian employee, you will be an essential part of the Defence Team.
The intent is to fill immediate vacancies in Esquimalt and Comox, BC. A pool may be establish for filling current and future vacancies with various tenures (term, indeterminate) in both Comox and Esquimalt, BC.

Education:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
Experience (minimum one year) in providing cleaning services in an industrial or commercial setting.
Assets:
Previous training or certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
Experience providing cleaning services in a military environment.
