In the application, you must provide your curriculum vitae. In the pre-screening questions, for each Essential and Asset education and experience qualification indicate Yes if you have/meet it. Then below each experience qualification for which you have indicated Yes, you must provide clear and concrete EXAMPLES and DETAILS of how you meet them. It is recommended that you describe the examples in specific terms, providing sufficient details so that the Assessment Board can clearly understand the circumstances. A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates may be created to staff similar positions within Health Canada and may be used as well by other Public Service Departments at this group and level with various linguistic requirements, various security requirements, various conditions of employment as well as various tenures as mentioned above. Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics
Note
Candidates must always have a university degree. The courses for the specialization do not necessarily have to be part of a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
E1 Experience in monitoring, analysing and synthesizing economic and socio-economic research relating to public health policies
E2 Experience in preparing statistical data and analyses for briefings, presentations and responses to enquiries
E3 Experience developing and maintaining collaborative relationships on behalf of an organization with a diverse group of stakeholders
Education:
Graduation with a degree in public health or nutrition from a recognized post-secondary institution

K1 Knowledge of economic and socio-economic factors as they relate to the food environment
K2 Knowledge of current public health nutrition issues in Canada and relevant economic/socio-economic policy implications at the federal level
