Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff four (4) full time, indeterminate Duty Officer position in Sydney, NS. A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may be used to staff similar positions, on a temporary or permanent basis, within the Canadian Coast Guard College in Sydney, NS.

Education:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in conducting the uniform training protocol.
Experience in resolving complaints, anticipating and detecting incidents and finding solutions.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset - experience:
Experience as a military style drill instructor.
Recent* experience working in a university or academic setting.

*Recent experience: usually associated with two years of experience.
