OUR IMMEDIATE NEED IS TO STAFF A BILINGUAL IMPERATIVE (BBB/BBB) POSITION ON AN INDETERMINATE BASIS THAT WILL HAVE AS A LOCATION OF WORK PETAWAWA or OTTAWA, ONTARIO.
A pool of candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or indeterminate), various linguistic requirements (imperative and/or non-imperative), language requirements (English Essential, French Essential, English or French Essential and Bilingual) and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements, various conditions of employment and for various locations.

Graduation with a degree in a related science from a recognized post-secondary institution combined with acceptable experience.
Extensive experience* engaging with stakeholders from the forest sector and building strategic partnerships.
Extensive experience* in communication with a diversity of audiences.
Experience in forest management, planning and operations.
Experience supervising staff.
*Extensive experience is defined as five (5) years of experience acquired in the last ten (10) years.
Graduation with a Master of Science degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in natural sciences (forestry, biology).
Experience in project management.
Experience managing a financial budget.
Experience in business development or business management.
Various language requirements

Secret security clearance
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Medical clearance in accordance with Treasury Board Occupational Health Evaluation Standards for fieldwork.
Willingness and ability to travel away from home base for extended periods.
Willingness and ability to work overtime on short notice.
