The results of this process will initially be used to staff two (2) position indeterminately. A pool of qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, determinate or acting basis, with various linguistic profiles (English essential, BBB) within Transport Canada in the National Capital Region.

Education
ED1: A secondary school diploma and completion of an acceptable* training program in electronics technology or the employer-approved alternative.
*Normally, an acceptable training program in electronics technology involves the completion of two to three years of post-secondary study in this subject.
Experience
EX1: At least five (5) years of experience in the implementation or maintenance of CNS/ATM systems used to provide air navigation services.
EX2: Experience in writing technical documents, reports and briefing.
EX3: Experience in analyzing and evaluating the risks, controls and impacts using computer based applications or software.
Experience
Asset experience 1: Experience in making recommendations on technical, safety and regulatory issues using risk management techniques and taking into account the inputs of technical specialists.
Asset Experience 2: Experience in coordination of certification safety oversight and related service activities for enterprises and organizations.
Asset experience 3: Experience in the conduct of regulatory audits and inspections.
