The immediate need is to staff one permanente position.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department in Matane. These positions are of different tenures.

ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Client service Competency – Level 1.

Ability to lift and carry objects (maximum of 25 kilograms/55 pounds) in a safe and proper manner.

Experience in receiving, handling and sending goods.
Experience handling and installing office furniture.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
For all positions :
Availability and flexibility in working hours.
The incumbent may be required to do overtime.
For position Equipment Clerk:
The incumbent must work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
For position Mailroom and Warehouse Clerk:
The incumbent must be able to work in a warehouse with wire meshed floor and stairs that can cause vertigo.
Reliability Status security clearance
For position Equipment Clerk:
Must possess and maintain a valid class “5” driver’s license issued by the Province of Quebec or provincial or territorial equivalent.
Depending on the needs of the organization, a random selection may be used during the process to identify which applicants will be assessed.
The assessment of candidates could take the form of one or more of the following: written examinations, interviews, practical exercises, and reference checks.
