Graduate assistants are generally responsible for a specific body of research related to the outcomes of the program offering the assignment. Assistants with substantial GIS training will be required to maintain the field databases in some field camps.
Lab and Office based: Lab and office based assignments are variable. They could include geochronology, isotope, geochemistry, geophysics, remote predictive mapping, GIS and other support work.
