You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in engineering, chemistry or some other specialty related to the position.
Minimum two years of experience in the manufacture, regulatory or logistical management, technical analysis, or use of explosives, or similar experience in the chemicals or food processing industry.

-Knowledge of the Explosives Regulatory Division
-Knowledge of the fundamental principles of safety, which apply to the manufacturing, handling, storage, transportation and use of energetic materials, e.g. explosives, fuels, oxidizers.
-Ability to plan, organize and perform inspections of explosives precursors facilities
-Ability to conduct technical investigations of industrial accidents and incidents
-Ability to participate in the development of standards and guidelines
-Ability to assess industrial hazards management and mitigation
-Ability to communicate effectively orally
-Ability to communicate effectively in writing
-Effective interpersonal relations
