The intent of this process is to create a pool of candidates to staff immediate vacancies and future opportunities.

The pool of candidates may be used to staff similar positions on an indeterminate or term basis with various security requirements.

A secondary-school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Degree equivalency

Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Experience in the use of digital printing equipment.

English essential

Information on language requirements

Knowledge of graphic design practices, which may include but not limited to: design, typography, image manipulation, photography, and printing techniques.

Ability to communicate orally.

Effective Interpersonal Relationships.

Successful completion of a two- or three-year post-secondary program at a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to graphic design, photography, or publishing.

Degree equivalency

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Experience and understanding of the design requirements for the web.

Experience using equipment such as a large format printer and stack cutter.

Experience with mounting large artwork and display items to presentation boards and banner stands.

-Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.

-Willingness and ability to work overtime.
