The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers, offering over 70 different types of civilian career opportunities. You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. A secondary-school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Experience in the use of digital printing equipment.

Information on language requirements
Knowledge of graphic design practices, which may include but not limited to: design, typography, image manipulation, photography, and printing techniques.
Ability to communicate orally.
Effective Interpersonal Relationships.
Initiative.
Dependability.
Successful completion of a two- or three-year post-secondary program at a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to graphic design, photography, or publishing.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience and understanding of the design requirements for the web.
Experience using equipment such as a large format printer and stack cutter.
Experience with mounting large artwork and display items to presentation boards and banner stands.
-Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
-Willingness and ability to work overtime.
