You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. • Graduation with a degree from a recognized university, with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry, environmental studies/management, water resources management, fresh water science, hydrology, hydrogeology or some other science relevant to the position.
• Experience managing projects, contracts and contractors.
• Experience working/liaising with other levels of government ie. First Nation, municipal, territorial.
• Experience working on projects and/or initiatives related to water resources management, water quality analysis, watershed protection, drinking water source protection, and/or wastewater management.
