Intent of the process

A pool of pre-qualified or fully qualified candidates may be created to staff similar or identical positions with various tenure, various bilingual linguistic profiles (no unilingual position will be staffed through this process) and various security requirements within the Courts Administration Service.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of two (2) years of post-secondary education* OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the position**.

Definitions:
*Post-secondary education means years of education following high school graduation (grade 12 or secondary V)
*Acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the position is defined as a high school graduation (grade 12 or secondary V) and three (3) years of work experience in a legal, judicial or quasi-judicial environment***.
***Judicial or quasi-judicial environment means a Federal Board, Commission, Tribunal or Court (Federal, Provincial or Municipal).

Degree equivalency

Recent* and significant** experience providing front line service to clients.

Recent* and significant** experience in communicating orally OR in writing with stakeholders.

Recent* and significant** experience in interpreting/applying acts, regulations OR directives.

*Recent is defined as within the last twelve (12) months.
** Significant is defined as the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex activities related to this task, which are acquired over a period of a year.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university and/or graduation with a diploma or certificate from a recognized college.

Degree equivalency

Experience working as a Registry Officer or similar position in a Federal Board, Commission or Tribunal.

Recent* and significant** experience working in a judicial or quasi-judicial environment*** in a role directly supporting the work of the Court and/or Tribunal, board and/or legal environment.

*Recent is defined as within the last twelve (12) months.
** Significant is defined as the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex activities related to this task, which are acquired over a period of a year.
***Judicial or quasi-judicial environment means a Federal Board, Commission, Tribunal or Court (Federal, Provincial or Municipal).

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)
