DUTIES:

As an Integrity Services Investigator, you will be asked to work on many programs administered by Service Canada, such as the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) and Employment Insurance. You will use your ability to analyze, give feedback and actively participate in building a strong program and team. The activities to be carried out as part of your duties will include the following:

• Conducting investigations on citizens and employers to ensure that they are meeting their obligations and are adhering to legal requirements;
• Analyzing documents, conducting telephone or in-person interviews, identifying fraud cases and making recommendations on any required corrective measures; and
• Preventing fraud through your various awareness activities.

Intent of the process

This process will be conducted in conjunction with the PM-02 investigator selection processes 2017-CSD-EA-QUE-18975 and 2017-CSD-EA-QUE-18976 that will be launched at Service Canada in the Quebec region.
For all common qualifications, the same evaluation tools could be used. If you apply for more than one position, we could assess only once the common qualifications using the same assessment tool that would be applied to the PM-02 investigator selection processes.
A separate pool of qualified candidates will be created for each process and may be used for similar indeterminate or specified period employment or acting appointments. Please note that experiences and assets may be different from one process to another, hence the importance of applying for the specified process (s) you are interested in and demonstrating how you meet each of the criteria that can be used for preselection.

Education:

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience)
