At the Translation Bureau, the Translation and Terminology Centre (TTC) is responsible for translating and revising official documents from different federal departments and agencies, including Global Affairs Canada, Public Safety Canada and the Privy Council Office.
Since these clients often submit requests outside regular working hours, the schedule for this position is from Wednesday to Sunday, from 1 pm to 9 pm.
Please note that the incumbent is entitled to a supplement of $7 per hour between 6 pm and 9 pm from Wednesday to Friday, and from 1 pm to 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The intention of this process is to staff temporary (term) positions. Subsequently, the results of this process may be used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures (Indeterminate, Term, Acting, Secondment, Assignment and deployment) at the Translation Bureau within Public Services and Procurement Canada.

Bachelor or Master degree in translation from a recognized Canadian university.
Degree equivalency
Experience of at least three years of full-time translation from English to French independently and at a rapid pace in an operational environment.
