You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Law degree from a recognized university.
Eligibility for membership in the Bar of one of the provinces or territories of Canada or in the Order of Notaries in the Province of Quebec.
Recent* experience in conducting legal research.
Recent* experience in the provision of legal advice on corporate law or commercial law or real property law files or transactions.
*“Recent” is defined as experience acquired within the last three (3) years.
