This is an anticipatory staffing process designed to create a pool of candidates. This pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with similar requirements.
The intent is to staff this position via the Aboriginal Peoples Employment Program, which aims to strategically increase Aboriginal representation within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. As such, Organizational Needs may be applied and first consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal peoples.

• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in a field related to the position.

In alignment with the APEP in support of strategically increasing Aboriginal representation in areas having the most impact on program delivery and health outcomes of FNIHB’s target population, selection may be limited to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal peoples. Reliability Status security clearance
• Possession of a valid driver’s license or personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a driver’s license.
• Willing and able to travel; this could include travel to remote locations and by small boats or small aircrafts and overnights.
• Willing and able to work overtime with short notice.
