The immediate need is to staff positions on an indeterminate basis. A pool of qualified candidates will be established through this process and will be used to staff similar positions. These positions may be of various tenures, linguistic profile and security profiles.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
The candidate must provide a proof confirming that the courses taken by the candidate correspond to two years in a post-secondary education program. The diploma must be issued by a recognized educational institution (e.g. community college, CEGEP or university). The candidate will be asked to present this proof during the interview.
Significant* and recent**experience in administration or technical support of work stations (Win7 and +) or servers (Win2008 and +) in a network Microsoft Windows environment.
Recent** experience in customer operational requirement analysis in order to meet their needs.
Recent** experience in analyzing IT asset acquisition requests.
*“Significant experience” means the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of related activities for a period of approximately two (2) years.
**“Recent experience” is defined as experience that has been obtained within approximately the last five (5) years.

Knowledge of project management principles.
Knowledge of computers, their software and peripherals, Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), IT telecommunications, IT security concepts and principles and the system architectures in client-server and web environments.

Knowledge of IT asset inventory management principles and practices.
Knowledge in IT purchases requests analysis.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Project management certification.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
Significant* and recent** experience in administration and technical workstation support in a Network LINUX environment
Experience working in a secured environment using encryption tools such as: SecureDoc, Bitlocker or Entrust etc.
Significant* and recent** experience in computer support and troubleshooting in a company with 100 or more employees.
Willingness to work overtime
