DEFINITION:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS are the qualifications required to perform the work. You must meet the below essential qualifications when applying to this position and provide concrete examples in the screening questions to be considered for this position.
Education
ED: Graduation with a degree from a recognized School of Medicine
Occupational Certification:
OC: Valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in a province or territory of Canada AND
Board certified or eligible in Aerospace Medicine or possesses Diploma in Aviation Medicine
Experience:
EX1: Experience in clinical Medical Practice
EX2: Experience in performing medical assessments to determine suitability for aviation medical certification. (civilian or military)
EX3: Experience in supervising other health care professionals
EX4: Experience in writing medical policy or guidelines

Asset Experience:
AEX1 : Working medical experience in the field of Civil Aviation Medicine

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness and ability to travel and work overtime, often on short notices.
Reliability Status security clearance
