• Processing purchase requisitions for goods and/or services.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable services.
• Processing petty cash claims.
• Generating financial reports for budget holders.
• Providing administrative and financial support to local Branch supervisors and management.
• Provide travel arranger services to clients consisting of booking travel, entering and processing travel-related expense claims.

Immediate need: To staff a Procurement and Finance Clerk position (English Essential) on a full time temporary basis in London, Ontario.
Anticipatory: A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions on a permanent full-time or part-time basis or on a temporary full-time or part-time basis for the location indicated for this process.
In the event that an employee of the public service is qualified through this process, he/she may be considered for acting, deployment, assignment or secondment opportunities.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Recent* and significant** experience in using SAP and/or other financial system.
Recent* and significant** experience in processing transactions, such as accounts payables, and/or accounts receivables, in an integrated financial application.
Recent* and significant** experience in procurement and/or purchasing.
Recent* experience in the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Recent* experience in providing client services in the area of finance.
*Recent experience is defined as within the last five (5) years.
**Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of the duties for a period of two (2) years.
