In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
-A secondary school diploma, and
-Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma/degree in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to aircraft maintenance and/or manufacturing.

Degree equivalency

Occupational Certification:
-CASI-Airworthiness, Operational Airworthiness, and Enforcement: a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence.

Recent** experience:
- holding Aircraft Certifying Authority (ACA) or Shop Certifying Authority (SCA) in a Canadian approved aircraft maintenance organization (AMO) and/or holding certifying authority within a Canadian approved manufacturing organization, or
- holding supervisory or quality assurance responsibilities in an AMO or approved manufacturer, or
- having regulatory oversight responsibilities as a CASI-Airworthiness.

Extensive experience:
-the performance of complex activities in a wide variety of situations and has six (6) or more years of Industry experience as a licensed AME.

**Recent, experience acquired within the last 6 years.

Asset Qualification - Experience:
-Experience using software applications other than word processing and spreadsheet software such as: PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, etc.
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Rotor Craft operations:
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Airline operations;
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Air Taxi operations;
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Recreational aircraft;
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Manufacturing processes (welding, plating, etc.);
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Avionics maintenance and repair;
-Extensive experience* working in an environment dealing with Non-destructive testing methods;
-Extensive experience* in the inspection, modification, repair or manufacturing of aeronautical products;
-Experience in writing documents, such as investigative reports or court documents;
-Experience in conducting interviews of suspects and witnesses.
-Extensive experience* in the supervision or management of quality programs.**

*By extensive experience, we expect the candidate has performed complex activities in a wide variety of situations.
**Quality programs include quality control and/or quality assurance systems

Willing and able to occasionally work outside core business hours and on weekends.
Willing and able to occasionally perform inspection and oversight activities in various aviation environments that may be hazardous.
