You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Education:

• A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

• Experience in safely operating and maintaining industrial sewing machines, sergers and blind hemmers.
• Experience in applying the methods and practices used in clothing alterations and repairs.
• Experience in applying the methods and practices used when sizing for proper fitting maternity clothing.
• Experience in applying the methods and practices used when manufacturing clothing items from samples or drawings.
