The immediate opportunities are for a specific term duration of approximately two (2) years. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff this position, similar positions or lower level, with various tenures (Indeterminate, Specified Period, Assignment and Secondment) and various security clearance within Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Successful completion of a two year (2) post secondary program in Civil Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline (e.g. architectural, mechanical, electrical) or an acceptable combination* of education, training or experience
* Acceptable combination is defined as at least 2 years in a similar property management position
Experience in property management (eg. leases, licences, divestiture/acquisition)
Experience in participating on multidisciplinary teams
English essential
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, policies, guidelines and procedures related to the management of Real Property
Ability to use databases or inventory management systems.
Ability to carry out multiple property-related projects and activities simultaneously.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Ability to interpret field/land surveying documentation.

Eligible for membership in the Association of Newfoundland Land Surveyors.
Experience in project management.
Experience in using AutoCAD.
