Provide guidance on the financial administration of a variety of AAFC programs. Provide accurate reporting, analysis, forecasting and other various financial services to clients.
Research internal/external sources or service providers to resolve difficult problems in processing, procurement and contracting issues or conformance.

The Corporate Management Branch is responsible for providing support through the provision of timely, accurate and relevant information, services, advice, and guidance.
Immediate need: To staff a Finance and Procurement Assistant position (English essential) on a temporary full-time basis in St. John's.
Anticipatory: A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions on a permanent full-time or part-time basis or on a temporary full-time or part-time basis for the location indicated for this process.
In the event that an employee of the public service is qualified through this process, he/she may be considered for acting, deployment, assignment or secondment opportunities.

Secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience working in MS Outlook, MSWord, and MSExcel
Experience in providing administrative services (such as but not limited to preparing correspondence, reports, or documents; providing information; maintaining electronic or hard copy records; or filing, processing mail, or reception.)
Experience in providing guidance to clients for administrative processes.
